From First LHC Data to a Possible Understanding of the Terascale

Philip Bechtle (DESY)
DESY Auditorium, 17:00 h

The LHC and its experiments started data taking at 7 TeV with great success in March of this year. Since then, strong advancements have been made in the understanding of the LHC experiments and their analyses. Using examples from the ATLAS experiment, the path from the present SM data analyses to possible measurements of properties of Supersymmetry will be explored. Using these measurements and many other precision information from HEP and Cosmology, the methodology of precision tests of SUSY models using global fits will be explained.
