The Muon Magnetic Moment - Evidence for Supersymmetry?

Dominik Stöckinger (TU Dresden)
Seminar Room 3, 15:00

In the past few years a significant deviation between the experimental
and Standard Model theory value of the muon magnetic moment has
been established. This deviation could be a signal for physics beyond
the Standard Model at the electroweak scale. Supersymmetric
contributions fit well to the magnitude of the deviation. The talk will
provide an overview of the current experimental and theoretical
situation, and the supersymmetry contributions will be discussed.
