Searches for new resonances and precision SM tests with multi-boson final states

Alexander Oh (University of Manchester)
DESY Auditorium, 16.45 h

With the large data set collected during run-2 at 13 TeV centre of mass energy by the experiments at the LHC multi vector boson final states have been used to probe for physics beyond the standard model via direct searches for new resonances and indirect constraints with effective field theory approaches. The talk will discuss the current status, focussing mainly on results from ATLAS experiment.
