Muon colliders: challenges and wonders

Nadia Pastrone (CERN)
DESY Hamburg, 16.45 h

A multi-TeV muon collider is a unique discovery machine and the best tool to fully study the Higgs potential. Despite the future prospects for such a project, renewed during the process to update the European Strategy for Particle Physics, the technology is not yet mature, and requires further studies and devoted R&D, supported by the international community. Past efforts, new ideas and synergies on studies for enabling technologies will be discussed.
