Lepton universality tests with tree level beauty decays at LHCb

Mika Vesterinen (Oxford Univ.)
DESY Auditorium, 16.45 h

Recent results from the BaBar, Belle and LHCb experiments hint towards the violation of lepton universality in tree-level decays of beauty hadrons. The hadron collider environment of LHCb is challenging, but presents many interesting advantages and complementarities in these studies. I will discuss the methods which enable the study of tau-muon ratios with LHCb, and will present the status of our results, possible interpretations, and future prospects.
