Seminar room 3, 15:00

As a complement to its flagship LHC program at the high energy frontier, CERN hosts a diverse panel of lower energy experiments involving a thousand of physicists from all over the world. In order to explore the possible future of these researches in the next two decades, and to prepare the update of the European Particle Physics strategy, the CERN Management has set up a dedicated study group named “Physics Beyond Colliders”. Several working groups are investigating the ideas submitted through open calls to the community in 2016 and 2017. The presentation will summarize the current status of the field at CERN and sketch the new developments which are proposed for the future.
