Flavor Mixing and Neutrino Oscillations
Harald Fritzsch (Physik-Department LMU München)
Seminar room 3, 3.00 pm
Texture Zero Mass Matrices will be used to describe the flavor mixing of the Quarks. The mixing angles are calculated in terms of the quark mass eigenvalues. The same method is used to describe the neutrino oscillations. The neutrino masses can be calculated - they are very small and display a normal hierarchy. An application to double beta decay is discussed.
