Structure Functions Results at HERA

Elisabetta Gallo (INFN Firenze)
Seminar Room 3, 15:00

The two Collaborations H1 and ZEUS at HERA have collected each
0.5 fb–1 of data and are now concentrating on the analysis of
the entire data sample. The latest results on the inclusive
cross sections in neutral current and charged current interactions will
be presented. The combined H1+ZEUS data have been used
lately in QCD fits to extract very precise proton parton
densities parametrizations. The two Collaborations also measured
lately the longitudinal structure function FL, for the first
time at very low Bjorken x. Some of the experimental issues
of this challenging measurement will be explained.
