Searching for the dead cone and color coherence with the jet tree in heavy ion collisions

Leticia Cunqueiro Mendez (University of Sapienza, Rome)
Auditorium (DESY Hamburg) and Zoom, 16:00h

I will discuss the status of the study of the microscopic properties of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) at the LHC using jets and their substructure, with focus on measurements using the iterative declustering of the jet tree. We’ll discuss the searches for color coherence and Moliere scattering in the QGP as well as the possibility to use the dead cone to isolate QGP-induced signal.

This is a hybrid colloquium.
