This physics seminar is embedded in the '10th Annual Meeting of the Helmholtz Alliance "Physics at the Terascale"'.

The International Linear Collider (ILC) is a next-generation electron-positron collider at the energy frontier, designed and developed through a worldwide collaboration. The talk will review the physics potential of the ILC and focus on the recent progress of the worldwide and domestic efforts to realize the ILC project.
