Chameleon Neutrino - The 2015 Nobel Prize for Physics

Rolf Nahnhauer (DESY)
Seminar room 3, 15:00

The idea that neutrinos may oscillate came up nearly 60 years ago, when only one species of them was known. It will be discussed in the talk, how this concept developed and what trials and tribulations had been done, before the phenomenon could be solidly confirmed and this years physics nobel prize could be awarded to two people contributing prominently to that process.
