Recent BaBar results and impact on New Physics

Four years after the end of data taking, BaBar is still producing a large number of new results. In this talk I will present the most recent measurements, focusing mainly on semileptonic and leptonic B decays. These decays allow the precise determination of the CKM parameters Vub and Vcb and, for the tau-lepton final state, allow to put stringent limits on the presence of New Physics in processes relevant also for the LHC experiments.
