Supernova Cosmology Today

14 years after the prize winning discovery of the accelerated expansion of the Universe, the use of Supernovae Type Ia as cosmic standard candles still provide perhaps the most direct probe of Dark Energy. I will review the present status of Supernova cosmology as well as other cosmological probes. Then I will focus on what current observations and survey can tell us about the properties of Dark Energy, i.e. our (in-) ability to distinguish dark energy models from a cosmological constant. In the last part I will give an outlook at what to expect from future surveys.
