Search for SUSY at the LHC

One of the most elegant ways to overcome many of the difficulties
of the Standard Model is an extension with a new symmetry between
half-integer fermions and integer spin bosons. This extension is called
Supersymmetry (SUSY). First ATLAS searches for signals of Supersymmetry
in proton-proton collisions at the LHC are presented. These searches are
performed in various channels containing different lepton and jet multiplicities
in the final states. The full data sample recorded in the 2010 LHC run and some
first 2011 data have been analysed. The limits on the parameters of the
Supersymmetry model are extended by large factors.
